Does eXroid treatment hurt?

eXroid is done without cutting. Some patients feel discomfort during treatment, and UK guidance advises that patients are told it can be painful. Dr Shahril will explain what you may feel and how discomfort is managed before you decide.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the size and number of your hemorrhoids. According to eXroid's published data, about half of patients are free of symptoms after one session and over 80% after two. Larger hemorrhoids may need more.

Who is eXroid suitable for?

eXroid is used for internal hemorrhoids, grades 1 to 3. If yours are larger or external, Dr Shahril will examine you and explain every option, including surgery if that is best for you.

I feel embarrassed. What happens during the examination?

That's a very common worry. The examination is done in a private room and takes only a few minutes. A chaperone can be present if you prefer. Dr Shahril sees hemorrhoid patients every day. Nothing you tell him will surprise him.
